This guy did not give me chance to change my nick (NaziDriver), and kicked me, because of it! It really does smack of stupidity, to get upset over a nickname. Immediately he assumed I was a nazi worshipper, but then suggested it may not be the case, but still felt upset about my nick! How can anyone really have a problem, with this nick, beggars belief, it is jus’ a nick![:(!]

I would just like to add that DJModels1999 is, as far as I am aware, just another member here like you and I, and that if you were kicked or banned, it was by FSM/Kalmbach staff. If there is an issue here, it would be wiser to take it up with them to find out their reasons.
From what I can see, he merely expressed an opinion that some of the members here might be offended by your choice of nick, as he himself was.

Oh right, i’m sorry, I thought DJModels was a mod! Whoever it is, it really is small-minded behaviour! I thought this forum was about discussin’ and makin’ models, not gettin’ upset about a stupid ‘nick’! If I came on here, tryin’ to recruit new members for Combat 18, or the nazi movement, then yeah, I deserved to be banned, as does anyone, condoning this behaviour!
Man, take it easy… As you say, we’re here to share ideas, tips, and the like about a common hobby. I did not mean to upset you at all, just remind you that your ex-handle was offending, or could offend people in here, that’s all. To be honest, I’m rather surprises the powers to be did not spot it before I decided to makemy comment about it. In any case, “FingersEddie” sounds way better, and I do look forward to seeing more of your T34 soon.

Thanks for your comments, anyway about my project! I’ve only come on here to share with you guys, a common interest, that’s all! By the way, this will be my first armour kit i’ve ever built (i’ve mainly built 1/24 auto’s), so i’m open to criticism, and of course, advice and tips! I’m jus’ tryin’ to mop up as much knowledge as possible, about weatherin’ armour, and everythin’ else! I wanna’ do this kit full justice! Thanks!
By the looks of it, you are just doing fine. I wish my first armour model had looked as neat as yours! But of course, I was then about 9 years old… In any case, I’ll be more than happy to help if I can. Maybe you should post pics of some of your cars???

This is the second thread in two days that some members are close to strangling others. I really don’t think Domi made any insult or dis to your nickname, but rather a suggestion to you that it might offend other members. Sadly Nazism is still part of our culture even some 60 years after the war. Even ordinary Germans can’t shake the label of their past. Our stupid punk culture (skinheads) use it as a symbol of hatred towards others. Others, like Europeans such as Domi, are no doubt affected by the activities of the past. I’m sure you are on the up and up and no sympathizer. So, let’s shake hands and get back to why we are here in the first place, our interest in this great hobby. What can we do to help?
