While it doesn’t work with large 1/72 and 1/46 aircraft IMEX makes some large eleven and a half by twelve inch display cases. While they’re better suited for 1/35th scale armor kits they work well with 1/48 scale World War Two fighters and smaller 1/72 bombers. The black plastic base makes a good diorama ground plate and the clear cover keeps dust out. The cases all also stack able.
