While in a gas station, i hatched an idea. You know those pixi sticks, th little tubes with sugar in it?Well if you sprinkle that on the ground of a Diorama base, it looks like dirt! but you have to paint it(awww)But its a good substitute if it turns out right!
good idea…
our concession stand (baseball field) has gigantic tubes…about half in diameter, 3 feet long
i’ll have to try it out =)
just be prepared for bugs and ants.
[#ditto]…being that sugar is a food source, it will be prone to decaying, crystalizing, forming into clumps, etc. You’d probably be better off finding another type of artificial dirt or sand to use.
Agree with waht was said above. I’d avoid that. Use dirt from the driveway or some commercial product instead. Using sugar is asking for problems.
Yeah, your probably right, but it hasnt happened to me yet…maybe its the paint?
[#ditto][#ditto][dinner][BG]It’s Spring time…Here comes the Bug’s!..Here comes the Bug’s!..I’d eat the stuff and get some colored chocks…Or other pixi dust…
