I’m doing the AirFix Hawker Hurrican 1:48 and need some advice on placing the underwing decals. Which direction should the writing go on the decals? ie If your laying flat on your back under the plane with your head facing the prop would you be able to read the instructions on the stencils ie " glycol fill" etc. or would you have to turn yourself around the other way with your feet towards the prop. I’m kicking myself for not getting photos of the underside of a Hurricane at an airshow when I had the chance, now I don’t want to just ‘guess and be damned’.
I am 99% sure that on both the upper and lower surface the writing is oriented so that you read it right side up from the trailing edge.
