Dipping decaled parts in future safe?

Hi all, I have a question about using Future over decaled parts. My windshield has some decals on it and I want to apply some future over them. Before I decaled the part I diped it in Future to get a more realistic look. Now is it safe to dip the whole part inside a container of future after decaling? Will it destroy my decals? Or, should I just airbrush the future on along with the rest of the model.

I would airbrush it just in case. Dipping is great for clear parts, but decals add a thickness to the part and might cause drips.
