[:D] Hello friends:
Thanks for your kind comments!, regarding to the sand I used paste for modelling “DAS”. This is an Italian paste that can be molded, dry in 10 hours aprox… After of dry I painted with sand yellow and finally applied desert powder pigments and the burn effect I mixed powder pigments black (70&% with (30%) of white.

Very convincing. Another super looking build. Thanks for sharing with us Rodolfo.
Very Nicely Done! Rodolfo, could you give us a small review of the quality of the kit? How it compares to the Tamiya or Trumpeter versions of the T-55? Cookie Sewell has shot down the SKIF kits in the past, as inaccurate or out of scale, etc. How about a few words on this subject, as I wouldn’t mind doing this kit, by the looks of it.
Thanks

[:D] Hello friends:
Thanks again for your comments. Rob, you can see some notes and construction step by step at: http://rtv-mm.com/MyProjects/T55A/t55-01.htm. Skif is of regular to acceptable, the tow cables [xx(] are very bad, the plastic is very smooth and is necessary to have care of to cut it, but I think that Tamiya is the best choice

Rodolfo
Just wonderful. The weathering is very very good to say the least.
