Diorama "Checkpoint"

Another figure set newly-released by Master Box. AI likes this set and he comments that it’s better than similar product from Verlinden, esp. the boy.

Have fun!

Nice attention to detail all around.Trying to paint that guardhouse would have driven me nuts!

GIVE THE DOOG SOME EYES!

GIVE THE POOR DOOG SOME EYES!!! [sigh]

The doog is squinting.

I think that’s called squatting!

I gotta say, I’m actually pretty happy to see someone built these up. I’ve been debating picking them up. The quality, especially in those civilians, looks fantastic, especially considering its styrene, and not resin.

mmm …they have eyeballs that are balls.

Get that doog a “seeing eye doog!”!!!

Yes, nice big round ones. Good job.

Yep, that too.

hmmmmmmmmmm…I think something sinister is about to happen to that female civilian…

I really like the nex Master Box sets. They keep coming out with ones that are tailor made for vignettes like this or some mixing and adding with vehicles. My figures work is not near this level of competence, so all I can say is nice job! A very nice OOB work here to me.

A very good scene, just like the movies.

The paint job on this one is great, about the dog, the doberman have dark eyes,so I think it`s ok for me.

That’s a German Shepherd Dog, not a Dobie. Check the ruff around the collar.

Shepherds also have dark eyes. I dont see why people are joking and commenting about missing eyes. Maybe just a dot of gloss on each one would work, other than that heres a pic of my doog.

Notice the surprised look, critiques welcome.

HEYYYY DOOG!!! [:P][:D][(-D]

That was my point–the poor doog’s eyes look lifeless and un-finished. There should be a spot of white and some gloss on them to at least look like he HAS eyes!

P.S.—This is one CUTE DOOG!

Good looking dog, Deputy. What kit is that?

My doog Sheba, thinks your doog looks bemused…

The painting of the dog looks closer to that of a Belgian Shepard, especially the Tervuren type.

Mad mike is Sheba a Border Collie?

Tervuren

I know that they are used for detector dogs. Someone had told me that this breed was used by the Germans as a patrol dogs during WWII alongside the Alsatian (German Shepard).

Mike T.

I guess this makes him Deputy Doog?
