this is the tamiya 1/35 chi ha type 97. the subject is from china 1944.

I am not sure how I missed this one, Joe. It looks good. The ground looks real. The tank of course is a refreshing sight being not the usual American or German armor.
What did you do/use for the mud? It looks really good.

Very well done Fightnjoe,quite effective.The tank blends in with the surroundings very well,the rubber on the roadwheels really caught my eye,nicely done! As you get more accustomed to doing dioramas let your imagination go a little and try different colours of sands,gravels,dried roots from your backyard,that kind of stuff,what you use and how you use them can be quite satifying and pleasing to the eye.Do check out some of the gangs work here,some very excellent builders with many groundcover ideas.

the mud is simply dry wall plaster. that is it. when it was wet i pressed the tank into it so the tracks would have more of a natural impression.
