I just recently purchased a Mattel Vac-U-Form machine off of e-Bay. The machine is in great shape and had lots of extras, but alas I am missing one very important piece. The smooth draw plate with all the tiny holes in it, does anyone have one that they can measure up and send me the dimensions of like height, width, length and hole spacing and diameter. I could then have one made up.
It’s 3 1/2 inches by3 inches, and you can make one out of just about anything. The original has about a dozen pins that hold it 1/4 inch from the bottom of the pan. The hole number and spacing are not critical, they are no larger than 3/32, and drilled in rows. Just enough to ensure good evacuation of the air.
