Building the Dragon 1/350 scale USS Chevilear. For painting, what dimension (thickness) should the hull boot top be - painting instructions do not mention this at all. In advance, thank you for your guidance.

look at the outboard profile drawing at the stern & bow areas as there is 2 different measurements for the waterline,
