I have a dilemma. I have the opportunity to get my hands on a Zoukei_mura 1/32 P-51D for a whole lot less than it retails for. Now I have the Skyraider by the same company and its just amazing. The P-51 will sit in my stash for a long time and its a big box so storage will be a pain too, I may never even get round to build it.
The question is should I let another modeller have the kit, never met the other guy have no idea who he is so its not as if it is a friend, but he is a “brother in plastric” if you will.
Before anyone asked the kit retails for something like £200 ($250) and I can get it for £90($120)
“Whenever you’re called on to make up your mind,
and you’re hampered by not having any,
the best way to solve the dilemma, you’ll find,
is simply by spinning a penny.
No — not so that chance shall decide the affair
while you’re passively standing there moping;
but the moment the penny is up in the air,
you suddenly know what you’re hoping” — Piet Hein
Hmmm, everyone is saying get the kit, but I’m wondering if it’s really all that great a deal. A quick Google search and looking at a few sites reveals that the kit retails normally for about that much (and lower, ALL of the sites I looked at were lower than $120 USD and as low as $80 USD.)
