Well I finilly got done with my M1A1,so heres the pics. Most of the crew stuff was made with modeling clay and did the best I could to make the packs and gear. The non slip surface was made using corn meal and the paint job was done using a pic that I got from the net.It markings may not be of that tank but this is one depiction of what some of these tanks went through during a sand storm.I hope you all like what you see and the figure is dressed in work figtigees.Digger

nice job Digger, I like the weathering! The bags turned out good to.
Looks great Digger, nice weathering. Thanks for sharing
Digger, that looks great! Fantastic weathering, and a great job on the stowage.
The cornmeal non-skid surface, however, seems way too coarse for the scale from what I can tell in that first picture (as I mentioned in your earlier cornmeal test pix).
Not to worry, though, as the overall impression of the build is excellent!
Thanks for posting.
Thanks for your comments ya’ll.The non-slip surface well it needs improvement I know but as an experament it did not turn out to bad.I will try something else out the next time I do a project like this.As for the bags that I made,I will do it again like this. That was fun trying to make them right.I used masking tape for the straping and the clay is a non bake type.It was only about five bucks for a brick which is cheaper then ordering the stuff in plastic. This was a fun kit to do and might do a nother in the future.Digger
great work on the weathering. looks very realistic
