RMG just put out a 1/35 German Naval mine:
And I can’t help but think it would look pretty cool in a dio with Bronco’s new Land-Wasser-Schlepper. From what I’ve read on it, the LWS seemed to be assigned lots of odd side jobs related to towing and hauling, so it didn’t seem unlikely that it may have been used for placing, collecting, or atleast transporting naval mines? I admittedly have fairly little knowledge of naval mining, so I have little more than a guess as to how it would be done.
Does anyone with greater knowledge of both subjects know whether or not the LWS was used in mine placing, collecting or transport roles? Thanks
