Dewoitine Twins

G’day folk’s,

These are the Tamiya 48 kit’s of the Dewoitine D 520, both are out of box and each is from the kit decal options, both are finished in the [old] AeroMaster ‘Warbird’ range of enamel paint, the builds are about 5 years apart, as the second build is the ‘measle’ scheme, both of these have been done with a dual action, the ‘measle’ scheme was a once only, [RSI and Writters cramp set in halfway threw the port wing]. I have not finished the ‘measle’ scheme as yet. I have a third kit of this aircraft which I have started on, intending to do the third kit option with the ‘Slave bands’ on a bird based in Indo China during the early stages of the Pacific War.

Rob.

Hi Rob…

Looks like you got it going on with the Twins, partner!! Beautiful work, thanks for posting! [:)]

Take care,
Frank

Nice builds of a nice kit. Thanks for sharing.

Good show Rob! Vive la France!

Those are two very well done aircraft! Great job!

Great stuff! Love the plane, and it’s always nice to see something a bit different!

Wonderful twins! I find this Dewoitine D 520 ( and the MS 406) interesting, tailskids instead of tailwheels (shades of WWI kites).

Wow, I can see how you got RSI with that scheme Rob! But it’s only the results that count, right? And those are fantastic[8D]. But… it’s not an Aussie bird…[:O][%-)]
