I am building in 1/32 nd scale. I am new to the aftermarket products. I really want to super detail my kits. I would like to know if anyone can tell me where or even if they make ammunition belts for aircraft. I am building a P-51 .
Thanks, Kurtdb.[:)]
Hi Kurt,
I am new to the modeling world, and do not know the answer to your question. I think I did see a ammo belt on a build in Fine Scale Modeler before. I know modelers in the know can answer your question.

I don’t know any specific sets for the P-51, but with such a popular aircraft you should be able to find more resin and PE sets than you can shake a stick at. My recommendation: Go to a mail-order site (like www.squadron.com) and search for 1/32 P-51 detail sets. You should get a pretty good amount of them, and then it’s easy to compare prices and see how much you are willing to pay.

Hello Kurt,
[#welcome] to the forum
You might want to look at Great Models http://www.greatmodels.com/
Some of the detail companies are CAM Resin, Grand Phoenix, Moskit, Verlinden Productions, True Details Accessories, Waldron Accessories, Squadron Products, Engine and Things.
They all carry 1/32 P-51 details and goodies.

Welcome to the Forum [#welcome]. I don’t build 1/32 scale ( Yet ), but I’m pretty sure Verlinden did a detail set that included open gun bay detail.
