destruction/construction of a fort

i have begun the destruction of my fort. (sniff) the instructions for the conversion say to make some major cuts to the kit fuse. so i did.

i am so ready to cry.

as you see it. tail chopped just aft the belly turrent. nose chopped and 3/8" removed. top chopped as per instructions.

kit used: revell/monogram 1/48 b-17g

conversion used: koster aero enterprises b-17c/e conversion




my indepth instructions.


now my screw up. i messed up on the clear part for the cockpit. i have to order a replacement. teach me to not read the instructions the fortieth time.

Don’t feel too bad. When I was doing my Koster Fw-200 I screwed up some of my clear parts. Bill is real good about getting us dummies taken care of. You conversion is looking very good so far.
