Try the Air Force’s and Navy’s home pages. They link up to some good stuff.

Try www.screensavershot.com or www.screensavers.com
in screensavershot look under machines and in screensavers look under stars and stripes they each have some good screensavers and they are for free.

Hi Joe,

I have a screen saver that uses photos from the calander called Ghosts and they are fairly good[:)]

The only drawback is they cost money[:(]

Lookat this web site to see if you are interested
http://www.azurebay.com/

If so, e-mail me at RSaddlemire@sc.rr.com and I’ll see if I can help[:-,]

i get mine from here http://www.af.mil/photos/ great photos and theres allways high res versions of them, ideal for wallpaper

I also have the azure bay screensavers called ‘Ghosts - Aircraft of WWII Vol I’ and also Vol. 2. Like mentioned earlier they cost a little money about $10 or $15 apiece but they are some pretty nice pics.

There are some programs that come bundled with PC’s or other hardware which have a screensaver utilitiy built-in. Take a looksee at some of the programs that came with your PC and see what’s there and what they’ll do.

The one I use is a utility from an old program called IPhoto Plus. It came with an old scanner I had ages ago. You’re somewhat limited in what you can construct; basically all it lets you do is create a glorified slideshow. But it has an option to attach audio files which is really groovy because I’ve come up with some way-cool, albeit simple, screensavers.

One example of a screensaver that I slapped together uses custom images and old WWII news reports. I put some clips from longer tracks together and then used relevant images to go along with the audio. By coordinating the track times and on-screen times for the images, I was also able to keep the images in sync with the audio. Nuthin’ fancy, really, but cool nonetheless.

There’s other software that’ll let you build REALLY groovy movies and such, but they co$t…

Fade to Black…

Search for Flypast magazine on the net ( It’s British BTW) when the main page has downloaded there’s an icon at the left which you can click on to download their screensaver. It’s a series of in flight warbird shots, I think you’ll like it.

thanks everyone.
