wbill this is kinda directed at you , I was playing around on the site last night and noticed there is a contest in October in El Paso , I asked just kinding around if my girlfriend wanted to head out there , well her mother lives in El Paso and she said ok so she could visit, I am getting ready for a show in FT Worth in September but would love to look forward to another show in October, I just wanted to know the size of this show if it’s just a little get together it wouldnt be worth it to drive from Dallas, I just want to make sure the show is big enough to drive 8 hrs [V]
jessiah,
It’s just a local show, couldn’t tell you how big it will be as it’s been dormant for a while and just now being revived. It does correspond to the Amigo Airsho the same weekend, so the two together might be enough to draw you out here. I’ve got a couple items that I will enter but am not real sure how big the whole thing will be. It’s being put on by the local chapter of IPMS but I’m not a member…
Jessiah,
I’m in Lubbock, what’s the deal with the September show? When and where is it? I may not be able to compete, but I’d sure like to take the drive if I’ve got the weekend free!

Worth Chapter website, the contest is called SuperCon It will be held on Sept 11 in Arlington, TX this should give you all you need directions etc… I went to this show about 2yrs ago and it was pretty good , it 's about like Scalefest if you have ever been if you need more information let me know and I’ll give you my email.
Very cool!
I think I may enter one of my 1/32 Apaches. Doesn’t seem like they have too many rotary wing entries!
youre right I don’t think Ive ever seen anything more than a seahawk at any of the competitions , Im going all out on my armor entering an OIF M113 and OIF hummer, good luck
