Decals won't stick...

I am having trouble keeping my instrument panel decal on my 1/72 Hellcat, I was just wondering should I put a small dab of some sort of glue on to keep it on? The surface was clean, but for some reason, it didn’t hold. Thanks.

I see Future in your future. Go to your local grocery store or any WalMart, and get a bottle of Future Floor Finish, this can be used as a decal set solution. Just dulute with water 50/50 and use it to set your decals. Dries clear as glass.

Thanks again for your help, so far your advice has proven very helpful to me with both problems I’ve encountered. Off-topic, I took your advice and got myself a Monogram 1/48 F-5. We’ll see how that works out. Thanks!
