Decals for early WWII US armor

I’m working on updating Tamiya’s 1/35 M3 Lee and M3 Stuart. I want to apply markings for late '42-early '43 (Operation Torch era), specifically the blue-grey serial numbers and yellow national markings. Has anyone used a decal sheet with these markings? Your recomendations would be appreciated.

Check Archer transfers, they have what you need in dry transfer form. Most of the latest kits do not include the “blue drab” numbers, although they have gotten the yellow unit markings and stars correct.

Check out Archer Transfers, they’ve got what you’re looking for. They can get a little spendy at times as you may need to get a couple of different sheets (ie. stars and registration numbers), but their quality and accuracy is very good.

Don’t use the Tamiya M3 Lee decals. They got some of the colors mixed up. Don’t recall which ones but the red/white/blue star plus dot is incorrect

I think Tamiya made the 3-color star roundel look like the early war AAC aircraft roundel, blue circle, white star, red dot, but the Armor Corps used a red circle with a white star and blue dot in the center.

Thanks for the feedback,I’ll check out Archer. I used some several years ago and even though it was more work it did make for good markings.
