Decals For 1/12 Italeri F-16 cockpit

Help me if you can. The decals in the said kit disintigrated upon the addition of water to the mix. Tried to get decals from Italeri, they reffered me to Testors as they’re the US distributer. Testors said they have no more, and if they REINTRODUCE the kit, I could get some, but basically too bad so sad. Testors offered me they’re F-106 decal set. My reply was only if your going to send the whole kit, these decals are not interchangable.

My first question is: Where can I get more of these decals?
Second: Do the people at these companies know what t products they
sell?
Third: Why would they think these two kit’s decals would be
interchangeable ,because they are both cockpits?

Could someone just color photocopy a set and then put them through a printer with decal paper for you! Must be someone out there among the talented who could do this?? I think I have the kit with decals but not the quality printer for the job.

if anything the thing that should have been done in the first place to prevent disintegration is to spray some dull coat on the top of the decal sheet it would help to hold the decals together. and secondly this is the second or third reincarnation of this kit it is the Ex-Escii kit same as the F-104 cockpit. ( I don’t think there is a F-106 cockpit or is there?)
