Decal switching

Hello,

I am wanting to do a couple of the P-47D aircraft and would like to do one of them as Grabreski’s P-47D. I am thinking of getting the Academy kit of 1/35 Grabreski’s plane (for the decals) and the Tamiya 1/35 Thunderbolt Bubbletop and would like to switch the decals using the Academy decals on the Tamiya kit and vice versa. Do you guys see a problem with doing this? I wrote in earlier on getting just the decals for the Tamiya kit but got to thinking after I spend $10.00 or more on just decals I might as will get another kit that has the decals included for a few dollars more and have 2 kits of the plane. Can you guys think of a reason why this would not work?

Thanks in advance,

George

Not at all. As long as they are the same scale, and the aircrfat types are the same, there will be no problem. I sed hase decals on an Academyt kits and will be useing that Academy kits decals on a couple of revell kits.
