Any Idea’s on why my decals are cracking and wrinckled, after putting the setting solution on? I am using Mr softer and setter.
I use the softener, let them set for a few minutes and then put on the setter.

I have never used the Mr. Softer product , but it could be that it is to "HOT " a solution for those decals , if they are new .
Older decals will become brittle , but they usually break up as soon as they are soaked in water .
Hornet, Mr Mark Setter and Softer need to be used with lots of care. THey arent as forgiving as Micro Set and Sol… Here’s how I use it:
Slather some Mark Setter(blue) on the place the decal will go. Apply decal. Let sit a couple minutes. Apply more Setter. Wait like 4 hours. Check and see if you even need Softer. That’s what works for me. Good luck!
You should use a liquid decal film on older decals. If will prevent the problem you are having. You coat the entire sheet. You will have to cut around each of the decals. This method has saved a lot of decals for me.
