yet another question from my humble self.
I have a friend that’s wanting to see if there is any company that would have 1/72 scale decals for a group of F-16’s that operate out of Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL. Can anyone give me an assist in finding them? I went through all the decal manufacturer links that the ARC page had and came up with zilch.

you wouldnt happen to have a unit number would you?
after looking around on the web, this wing is probably associated with the Air War College there, or more likely a reserve or air national guard unit. I’ve been through there several times and the only permanent squadron I know of is the C-130’s of the Airlift squadron and misc C-130’s (saw about 10 AC-130’s there all lined up one morning… NICE!)
If it’s a guard unit operating out of Maxwell (I lived there when I was about two, when my dad was in the Air War College, so my memories, to say the least, are pretty nil), but to the point, your best bet would be to check the web site for Expert’s Choice. They rarely miss a guard unit’s marking with their great decal sheets. I’ve never heard of such a unit, but I don’t know that much about the Alabama guard, except that their planes were used in Bay of Pigs invasion (A-26’s at the time, or rather, B-26’s with the US markings painted out and Cuban pilots).
He didn’t give any specifics, just wanted to find four sets for a couple of F-16s that he was working on. I’ll try tot look for that website you posted up, Sharkskin. Many thanks.
