I’m about to put decals on and I’m wondering how to get the gloss off once it’s on.
After the decal is dry, spray a coat of dullcoat, flat lacquer, over it to seal it on and remove the gloss finish. It may require more than one coat to fully cover the gloss.
Does that come in a can. Or do you spray it in an airbrush. If you spray it in an airbrush can I brush it on because I don’t have an airbrush.
You can get it in a can or airbrush it. I wouldn’t brush it on, as it sometimes doesn’t dry as flat as spraying. Therefor check out Testors Dull Coat LAquer. You can find it at most hobby shops, Michaels or even Wal-Mart

[:D] hi ,after the decals are on to get the shine off i use a dull coat ,that will seal the decals,if you use a couple of coats it will macke the decals seem to painted on.[:D]
