I want to build Hellers 1/72 Boeing 707 only with American Airlines markings. The kit provides Lufthansa and a prototype markings. Havent had any luck with after market decal searches. Are their any custum decal makers that could make these without it costing a arm and a leg? Please any help would be appreciated as I want to build this as a gift for my father, who worked there for nearly 50 years.

Be advised, that not all 707s are alike. The Heller kit represents the “intercontinental” 320 series, with the greater span and wider chord at the root, and the slightly longer fuselage. I think American had some of these, but most were of the 100 series, with the smaller wing and shorter fuselage. American also had some 720s which were “hot rod” 707s with a shorter (yet) fuselage and a different inboard leading edge to the wing.
If you’re crafty, you can merge the AMT KC-135 wing with a shortened Heller fuselage to get a more representative 707-100 series.
