Decal fixative?

Modelers, I was looking into buying paper and fixatives to create my own decals. I looked at Micro-Mark and found the paper. I then searched for the fixative and found this:

Are they joking? Does that not say Krylon? The same stuff I can buy at Wal-Mart? Am I missing something?

I looked real close and I also swear the words on the can were…Krylon. You can buy it at Wal-Mart and Michael’s Art Supply too.

The stuff works great. I think the drying time on the can says “drys in under 11 minutes.” I’d give the stuff at least 16 minutes to dry.

I think I have about 5 cans at home right now. It is the secret decal sealer and cheap too. I wonder who “let the cat out of the bag?”

You’ll find that a lot of Art Supply shops stock it as a fixative for artists. And usually stock it in Gloss, Semi-Gloss and Flat. I have salvaged some old decals in the past by spraying them with Krylon.
