My great uncle served on that ship. It’s a Forrest Sherman class destroyer. Revell made a kit of the USS Forrest Sherman which is what you want. The released the same kit under a different name, but I don’t remember that name. Hope this helps.

Also released originally as the USS Decatur. I’m not sure when the last release date was. But, these ships are easily found on ebay.

There is a JAG collective 1/700 waterline Forrest Sherman. I think its owned by Admiralty Modelworks now.
