I’m watching The Early Show (only channel we get in the shop [:p] ) and the have a live report at the Air show going. They’re interviewing Scott Crossfield who was the first to break mach 2. The reporter mention “The Right Stuff” and he got a little miffed and said “I won’t endorse anything from the right stuff”. I LMAO [:D] Goes to show you how badly Hollywood can portray some things and on the opposite end is Band of Brothers which I think they did an excellent job on. Anyway, I could see a B-1 in the back ground but that’s about it for military planes from where they were standing.
If anyone goes please share pictures! They have cancelled the show at Dobbins ARB for the last few years due to security concerns and I’ve not been able to make one in a while!
I was there on friday and shot ten rolls of film, I tried to get a little of everything. I spent a few on Snowbirds, Blue Angels, and the Thunderbirds. It was my first time to see any of them. I hope to get a lot of good pics. I will post when I get them back.
I just posted six pics of the air show on RonUSMC’s site. I put them in the reference album under aircraft. They are the last few in there. Hope that everybody likes them and I have plenty more where that came from. Out of the ten rolls, there are only two pics that I am not satisfied with, the others are tolerable.[:D] Let me know what you all think.
