As you might assume from my avatar, I’m a ship modeler but taking a break and building a 1/72 SBD Dauntless, after reading Hal Buell’s book “Dauntless Helldivers” and becoming intrigued with the plane. The dive brakes are molded into the wing, and I thought of drilling the holes out, but instead would like to depict them in the deployed position. I’m not a plane guy, so I’m not sure how these would look. I’m looking around the web for photos, any suggestions?
