HEY,
I just got the revell enzo ferarri, and the detail and quality of the kit is awsome, especially for revell. It came with a bunch of mesh that needs to be cut to templates. I was wondering what you guys used to cut the mesh to shape. My hobby knife is kinda dull right now and i was thinking about using some small scissors that i use for decals. Thanks in advance.

A new blade and cut it on a piece of glass, or a pair of kitchen scissors will cut it easily.
Dubix all i can say is… try a white outline with paint after cutting your stencil. like with white “chalk” or something, then use good scissors… and free hand it… like cutting a circle when you were a KID in playschool with little “Young Gun” scissors, yah know the ones that were green for righties and red for lefties…[:o)][angel][(-D][(-D]
haha that was great RustyFord… I saw your post about the old guns group build.
yeah just make sure your scissors are sharp… otherwise the cut might be uneven or frayed… I find those fingernail type scissors work good. If ya can, use your mom’s best sewing scissors… that should do it. [;)]
(I did that once… ONCE.)
HEY,
I already stole her sewing scisors, she needed new ones anyway. Oh, did i forget to mention that i had to buy her new ones after i got paint on the old ones?lol Did you hear that? Just wanted to make ure your hearing aid didnt go bad. I SAID YOUR HEARING AID NOT QUEER MAID!!!lol Thanks guys.

Why back in my day we’d take a young whipper-snapper like you and…
Actually what’s scary is my grandpa used to do that… I think he really heard what they were saying but would answer something else to irritate us.
Grandma: “Hey, Alvin called from his office downtown”
Grandpa: “What??? The post office burned down?”
HEY,
Wanna here something funny? how bout this
My uncle to his mother:" Hey ma its on Bay Street"
My grandmother:“Bay Street?”
Uncle:“No ma Bay street”
“thats what i said, Bay street”
No ma BAY Street"
I said Bay street"
Well it goes on and on i just dont want to type it all. She kept giong for it for about ten minutes, before she saw us cracking up on the floor.

hahahahhahah, smartaleck…
For mesh I have scrap piece of the wire mesh used on screen doors and windows. With this one scrap piece I could do hundreds of models. I cut to a rough shape with a pair of small scisors and use a keen blade to shape it exactly right. And if I mess it up…I just throw it away and start over again. Plus it looks more realistic than the "thread-like " mesh that comes with models these days.
Hope this helps…good luck.
HEY,
Is the mesh the right size though. Im building a car so the mesh is pretty small, small enough that i think you may have a bit of trouble seeing through it on a door.
