I usually hang out on the Aircraft forum, but as an homage to my younger days, I have recently started to look for some of the car kits I built many years ago. Does anyone remember a Lindberg (I think) kit very large scale (maybe 1:12) of a futuristic bubble top roadster? IIRC, it was a dreadful purple colored plastic, had all the “toy” features like working steering and working bubble top. I have been searching EvulBay and a few other sourcesm but I cannot find it or even the name of the kit. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks very much for your reply, this is of help! This is somewhat similar, but as best I remember, it had a full bubble top. The motorized feature is correct. The kit dates to the mid 60’s (65, maybe) and was either 1:18 or maybe even 1:12 - it was BIG! I wish I could find a listing of old Lindberg kits, that would probably solve the question. As to ever locating one, I suppose that if I ever got that lucky, I’d need to mortgage my place for it!
