Has anyone got any ideas as to where I can get some good plans to build models of each of these early bombers that were flown by the 96th bomb squadron in the 20"s? Oneil made a vac form model years ago but I cant find one anywhere, and I think I would prefer stryrene anyway. Any help, suggestions, etc would be greatly appreciated. thanks Bruce
Ahoy Bruce,
I don’t know if you are familiar with the drawings of Paul Matt, a noted aviation draftsman, but he has an excellent set of drawings of the Curtiss B-2 and the Transport derivitive, the Curtiss B-20 Condor. They are two of many Golden Age three-view, detailed aircraft drawings in “Paul Matt’s Scale Airplane Drawings Vol 1.” This book, published nearly 25 years ago is still available for $24.95 ( I just looked). Try Amazon. Its also available at Hannan’s Runway,
www.hrunway.com
the drawings in the book are 1/96th scale and 1/48th scale prints can be ordered (according to the book) from Aviation Heritage, PO Box 2065, Terre Haute, IN 47802. Published price in my volume is $8.00/set.
Hope this helps.

The National Air and Space Museum has drawings available for a small fee.
I once ordered drawings for a Fokker DrI and was almost overwhelmed by the
information and detail.

Fitter, Thanks for the info. I just sent the Curtiss Museum a request for drawings. Hope to be able to let you know that they were helpful.
