For ease of construction, selection, understanding directions, what company are people looking at first these days? I am into Tamiya right now for 1:48th. Anybody lookin elsewhere?

I agree, Accurate Miniatures is the best product on the market. Models built by model builders, not corporations. The selection is not huge but the product is superlative. I cannot wait for their SB2U Vindicator. Their products never dissapoint.
