Can anyone tell me what to whatch out for in the model PBY-5A Black cat. Made by Academy. When I looke it looked like it didn’t have enough parts
Sorry mate not able to help on the pby-5a black cat but if its the same as the pby-2 then its a pretty good , front turret a little tricky but a nice model . I’m just about to start the pby-5a black cat in a group build ‘It Floats and Flies Group Build’ - Feb 1st 2005 to May 1st (or whenever) if intrested pop in and join in . although I will be concentrating on the sunderland first .

I have the kit and the only real compliant I have is the waist bubble windows. They were made as one solid structure. They should had done more of a rescessed porttion for the lower part of the bubble to represent the fact it could slide up into the upper bubble. I haven’t seen the inside of the box for a couple years now but I don’t think there’s optional parts for an open bubble. Other than that I like the kit. I’ll take a look inside tonight and let you know.
