Cropdusters!

'Thought I’d try my luck attaching a picture. This is a scratchbuilt 1/32 scale Piper PA-25 Pawnee I completed a year ago. Hope you like it…

That’s a real nice Pawnee, well done! And welcome to the forum.

That’s great work! i want to do the same for the Sea Duck from Tail Spin, but have never scratch built anything and am not sure how to go about it. I still need to decide how to get the shape based off drawings.

Oh, man!! I’ve SEEN these guys in action! Some of the most amazing flying I’ve ever seen.

I’d LOVE to build one of these … as a Tamigawa type kit…that would be amazing.

Beautiful scratchbuild … very nice indeed.

nice duster. especially nice since scratchbuilt.

i’ve only ever done one crop duster, the Stearman 75 from Independence Day movie. This was from the Lindberg movie branded (ID4) series is 1/48 scale or so. I modified the pilot to be drunk.

man, i need to do some better pix.

pic from the movie:

I think that the Elga 1/48 Embraer EMB-20 is the only injection modelded styrene cropduster kit:
