Are continuous cowl flaps for Tamiya’s 1/48th F4U-1 & F4U-1A availabe from any of the aftermaket companies ?
I am planning on doing one or two VF-17 F4U-1A’s. Their F4U-1A’s were the first off the Vought production line and most, if not all of them had the continous cowl flaps and short tail wheel strut that would be found on the F4U-1 birdcage. No stealing from the F4U-1 kit, as it has the later cowl & flap configuration.
