Both kits are looking very nice but I especially like that Ukrainian T-64

Oh wow thats some nice camo on Olifant!

T-64 looks great as well. Great paint work ok the side ERA.

Very good looking models! I agree that Olifant is really good.

That Olifant is looking sharp @Jeeves . Love the camo work that you’ve laid down on that one. I would love to go to the AMPS Nats Show after going to my first ever IPMS Nats show in 2023. I had a great time and got to meet up with some forum members as well as talk to some good folks in the hobby.
That Trumpeter T-64 is looking good so far too bud.

I really like that painted ERA on the T-64. Not very often we get to work with bright colors like that!

Thanks guys! Been reading a new Osprey book called Boots on the Ground that has a lot of photos from the Russo-Ukraine war giving me ideas on what to place alongside the T-64…stay tuned!

Nice stuff going on there

Got some dot filtering done on the Olifant- now I just need to focus on the tracks…

Need to start the dot filtering on the T-84…and start painting the MIniart and Master Box figures…

Both tanks are looking so good Jeeves. That splash of blue and yellow on the T-84 really make it POP and the dot filtering toned down the colors on the Olifant. I’m not familiar with the Olifant What country uses the Olifant?

Very nice job on both,South Africa started the Olifant, not sure if it’s exported anywhere.

Thanks Tojo72. That would be a great addition to my armor collection.

Decided to start working on a shelf queen in the Model Cellar French Tanker to work on my painting skills and started the 1/16 Das Werk StuG III that I’ve been wanting to start for some time now…

@Jeeves

The lit end of the cigarette shouldn’t be glowing red unless it’s being puffed on.

Your flesh tone on the figure’s hands look very good Jeeves!

Understood but its not done yet…I plan on adding some ash color to the end and leaving just a sliver of the embers…much yet to do.

Thanks Tom…it sure is a learning process.

Finished up one track run and when I tried to roll them up to get them ready to install, the Tamiya thin cement did not hold and they came apart…gotta go back over and use the cement instead…

Today I got the outer road wheels out of the “bag o’ dirt” treatment. The inner side will be pretty well hidden so I didn’t bother since its a bit messy, but will add some pigment as needed when I do the underside. Will pop off the return rollers and do the same…then on with the tracks. Also assembling the gun and breech and will then paint it and this limited interior…

Updates on the Das Werk StuG as I wait to prep the base for the T-72. Sometimes these photos are just a good reminder of where I need to sand a bit more and touch up paint. Had a bee buzz my head as I was painting the interior floor which explains the Rotbraun on the side…oops. No radio decals so some creative painting helped with the white bits.
