I just ordered this kit and can’t wait to get started on it. Has anyone else already built the kit and if so, what are your impressions of it?
I’ve been wanting to do a kit of the Hunley for a long, long time and although the 1/72 scale is a bit small, it looks like it will build into a fantastic display once completed.
I’ll be following this with great interest! Looks like an amazing kit. I just received the CSS David (torpedo boat) from Cottage Industry but haven’t had time to start the build. I’m new to resin models so I decided to start with something simple.
I also am surprised there are not more civil war sub kits in plastic. Seems that each sub has such an interesting story and the designs are so unique…go figure.
