Does anyone make a conversion kit to make the corvette from the movie corvette summer?
I’d heard there was one a while back, but don’t recall who did it.
What year was the Corvette they used ?
Rob
This article from Corvette Magazine says it was a '73.

Awesome link! Best pics I’ve seen yet.
Hmm… now where did I put that old Revell 'vette?

I was reading a review of that movie in another Corvette magazine … it just came out on DVD … and their description of the car was very unflattering, especially the hood scoop. But it is one of a kind, that’s for sure!
Everyone always tells me how crappy that movie is, lol. But I saw it on TV one night, and I liked it. I guess car lovers like us are a different breed. lol.
LOL… I have to agree
I remember years ago watching some other car movies that everyone told me stunk (can’t remember the names now [:I] ) but I liked.
Ron Howard in an orange Camaro racing on a dirt track I think.
A 60’s Vette (in rough looking shape) racing on a mountain road in California, something about “King of the Mountain” or something, a garage called RPM.
I better stop… sorry for the memory lane ramblings… [:(]
You’re probably not going to find the Corvette Summer Vette model.
Me is thinking… custom work, just like the real thing. [:P]
I just picked up a 'Vette from our LHS.
Pics of progress coming soon.
Hmm… A resin conversion in the works?
