Great video. Now I just have to purchase the tools.
That’s damn impressive, though I have no where near the skill set of most of you on this forum so my model will maintain this imperfection ![]()
It wouldn’t take much. A Dremel would be good, but a lot of scoring would be my own preference even though I own two Dremels.
Hey the big thing I took away, and thank you very much OP; is the CA, dental powder putty. Wonderful!
Where can you get the dental powder?
Bill
I’m sure the dental powder works well, but I’ve gotten satisfactory results with baking soda.
Baking soda is not even close. I wish people would stop making that assumption. The acrylic powder incorporates much easier and is much stronger. And, strength is a factor in the areas of this project that you see in the video.
Paul
I stand corrected! I’ve only had occasion to use the stuff in relatively small applications, for which baking soda seems to work fine.
Seems remarkable that the CA manufacturers haven’t started packaging and selling some such stuff to the hobby market.
Where do you get it!
Bill
I have to thank you Paul.
That is one fine video .I never thought that anyone would be doing what you are .From an old Tanker - Builder THANKS !
Bill,
I’m not sure if this is equivalent to “dental” powder but it says acrylic.
