Sometime ago I put up a post about Copper State Models (CSM). I was in the process of building the Revell 1/28 WWI aircraft and had found old references to CSM in several articles about building these a/c. I had checked on CSM and found they were out of business - sort of. The original company in Arizona (hence the copper state in the name) had closed, but I found the product line had then been picked up by a gentleman out of England - a fellow from Russia named Ilya Sobolev. I had a relative large order and, very honestly, was a little hesitant to send over $100 to a company/person whom I could find out nothing else about. No one in the forum had ever heard of or used the newly resurrected CSM. Well, having faith, I went ahead and did it. That faith was well founded. Mr. Sobolev is a fantastic and very interesting gentleman. And, his CSM is the only place I know of you can find the 1/28 PE and resin sets. !/28 is not the only scale they have and I highly recommend them as a vendor. Hope you find a chance to order something from him and get to know Ilya - great experience. Look for them on the Web under Copper State Models. You have to communicate via e-mail but it is worth the extra time and effort.
He does seem to be good fellow. He owns Olimp models too.
