As far as I know, there is not a decent 1/72 Do-17Z kit on the market yet (I mean with engraved panel lines above all). However, ICM from Ukraine has a nice 1/72 Do-215 kit for a very good price. My question is: would it be feasible to convert this kit into a Do-17Z ? As far as I dug up from wikipedia, the only difference between the two models seems to be engines. Am I correct ? Are there any aftermarket producers offering suitable engine nacelles (and maybe propellors) for a Do-17Z ?
No aftermarket engine nacelles that I know of, so you’d be doing some kit-bashing.
ICM will be doing a Do 17Z so I’d just wait for that unless you really want to do it now.
