Congratulations Erush

I’d like to congratulate my brother Eric on his first place showing at the Atlanta Model Expo this weekend.

Well deserved for the work put into his Marder.

Awsome! i was just there lol. i think i remember that kit too. i won two seconds [:D]. that was a great show- tons of vendors and participants. im just lookin for the next big one at the cobb galeriah though. good jab man. with all that competition yours had to kick a$$!

I was glad to have been able to shake his hand in person as well as Renarts who also got a second place and Keyworth. A pleasure it was also to see thier work first hand that have only seen in the pics here. It was a very enjoyable time being able to actually meet face to face. I’m sure there will be some pics for y’all to have some fun with as well. If it was that fun with 4 of us, should be great with alot of us at the convention. Even though I did’nt place with anything it was well worth going even if I am feeling walking on those great crutches on tarps over a wood floor all day. Almost got interesting once trying to do it and would have gotten an award for sure I would not have wanted!

Junior - That makes twice we’ve been in the same room and did’nt get to meet. We’ll have to try again March 27 at Hobby Town!

Fantastic Job.

Two Thumbs way way up!!

hey man- ill be there. you cant beat those complementary girt cirtificates! [:p]

[:I] Shucks, thanks guys! I was really suprised by that as there was some really good stuff there!! It was great meeting Mike, Ed and Chris (we’d met once before actually but didn’t have time to talk much). Also, Paul Boyer from FSM took photos of my Marder, Mike’s “Tiger” I tank (orange real tiger scheme y’all saw him post a while back) and Chris’ jeep dio that he had there. Maybe they’ll make the magazine sometime.

It was a huge event, 1163 model entries, 195 vendor tables, and lots of folks there!! The Nationals will be in Atlanta next year and really ought to be good!

Eric

darn it1 i thought i recognized him lol. if i knew it was him i would of talked to him. [:p]

Hi guys. As Eric mentioned, he and Mike, Chris, Tim (riceball) and I finally got to meet face to face. We had a blast. The show was one great surprise after another. Very well organized. Judging was excellent. The quality overall of the submitted entries was amazing. Paul Boyer was passing out photo op invitations like M&M’s  Expect to see some fine builds in future issues of the magazine. You should have been there! [:D][:D][8D]
