Having just finished my Bf 109 E4, I am trying to decide if I should have a go at the Zvezda 109 F2 in my stash. I find the options, paint options and decal options confusing. Is there someone who has done this one? It seems option 1 is simply the model with engine open, gear down etc. and option 2 is the model in flying mode. However, there are several parts such as engine struts, wing tips and more which are different for option 1 and 2. Also the paint schemes and colors are confusing so I am now thinking of getting aftermarket decals. Which brands are good and how will I know which decals go with which build options? e.g. the wing tip shapes have two options - so how would I know which of the decals go with which option in the kit?

That is a great kit but the painting/marking options are fairly complex that are cited…My adive is to visit any online store, such as Great Models, and research more AM decals from Aeormaster and Eaglecal…
I just picked that same kit up about 2 weeks ago, you’re right the kit is rather complex with LOTS of fiddely bits. That being said it is supposed to be the best “F” out there.
