i read a review of the resin cockpit I am attempting to use, and it said that the fit of the resin tub was decent! How can this be?! The fit of mine is nonexistent. It needs another hour (estimated) of sanding before it can even begin to fit!!! How can this be?
P.S. Mod. should make this sticky. “Resin woes of Tankmaster7”. lol hehe…
Many reviews tend to be misleading, especially if the Producer is also an advertizer for the reviewee. Decent could be interpreted as " It isn’t actually impossible, only seems like it " [:)].

It all depends on a personal viewpoint.
IME, most AM resin parts need a LOT of work and often the fit can be worse than anything put out by the big companies.
I prefer to buy AM parts in order to convert a kit into a version that is NOT available in kit form, never seen really the purpose of AM parts to accent detail that could be scratchbuild.
Adding to that I have seen AM parts that were out-of-scale, details lousier than the kit parts, etc.
Considering the money I need to spend on AM parts and possible work and headaches involved I tend to buy few.
