What “adapter” are you referring to? [%-)]
Mike
Badger has a hose adapter that goes from their small hose size to 1/4" NPT. The instructions recommend that it you are using a compressor without a regulator that a bleed hole be drilled into it. If this is the one you are talking about, you only need a bleed hold if your compressor doesn’t have any way to regulate the pressure.
Sorry mike I should have made it more clear, I was refering to the dapter fro, Badger that connects the compressor to the air hose. Thanks MusicCity for answering my question.

Along the same lines… I have been using the Aztek adaptor that comes with the box set and my home commercial compressor. It is working well. However, the adaptor threads are begining to wear. Can any one sugesst an alternative adaptor system. Or at least a way to get more of these plastic adaptors?
I have a spare, email me i_r_rule@hotmail.com
The threads on mine were starting to wear out too…I just wrapped a few layers of teflon tape to it, and then attached a male quick-release to it. Of course, I have female quick releases at the end of my regulator and moisture trap. But, this puts the wear on the quick-release, rather than the adapter. Where the adapter connects to the airbrush, that’s plastic on plastic–put a few layers of teflon there too, and just snug it–don’t overtighten
