OH WOW Toshi,
I guess you do your best work in the wee hours of the night. Your pit looks fantastic my friend. I am vicariously enjoying this 262 as much as you are I think.

Sometimes I have the inspiration to do so. Thank you Jay Jay!

This is where as of the assembly of the cockpit ceases. Next up is the metal landing gear, machineguns in the nose, and engine assembly. Up until that point, here is the finalization of the cockpit prior to the installation into the fuesalage. I hope you like it.

I now will leave with Mrs. Toshi to visit my son at his home. We will be going to his neighborhood grocery store which is in an upscale area. The grocery store is a brand new Giant Eagle. I actually worked for them to set up a sushi program from 2001 of November up until 2002.
We probably will have lunch at the Giant Eagle bar and cafe, do some minor shopping and it’s back home to grill some Chinese Char Siu Chicken for dinner. After dinner, it’s back to assembling and building of the Me 262. Until then, enjoy your beautiful Sunday afternoon with family and or friends. Always remember to say I love you. To my fellow forum members, I love you all especially for the support and allowing me to mature and grow here on FSM Forum. Thank you!

That is one fabulous cockpit Toshi. Very well done indeed.
Thanks JOE RIX, and thanks for the positive comments as well as the visit!

Hi Toshi Looks like another great build !! My cousin goes to Tokyo every year for the Flower Show and she will visit a couple of hobby shops. It is amazing how much the Japanese are into this hobby
Looks great
Yes, it is amazing that the Japanese would take something that’s a specialty and take it to the next level. Yes, extreme would be a better description to these model builders. Thanks for the read and reply.
Thank you sir, I appreciate the read and reply!
Here’s a few more photos of the Me 262. The assembly process was done while watching Sunday Night Football. That game was between the Philidelphia Eagles and the Carolina Panthers. I never had much trust in the Eagles QB Sam Bradford, now the Panthers QB Cam Newton played lights out hence the Panthers victory as well as being one of the few undefeated teams 6 and 0.
Anyway, without boring you with NFL stats, here are the photos of progress.

Metal Landing gears, pretty cool!
Building the machine gun nose pod.
Nice work Toshi on both the cockpit and the gun bay. You’ve come a long way in a short time!
I still have the old Hasegawa Me-262 tossed in a junk box of old models that I rob for spare parts every now and then but the box is buried under a bunch of other stuff and I didn’t feel like dragging it out. If I get time I might see if I can find it though.
Nce work, Toshi! That 'pit looks pretty cool with the translucent plastic around it. It puts an odd light into the cockpit so you can see the details differently.
I’ll be watching this build, I have one of those in my stash. I’ve included some aftermarket PE and resin in my box, though, but being a clear edition, I want to make sure my skills are up to the task.

Thank you Gamera, your words of support means much to me. Sure, no problem, no rush. It was just a thought. Take care my friend.
Toshi
Thanks CrashTestDummy, I thought it was a clear plastic, but you are correct. The translucent plastic gives it a different perspective. As for your skills up to the task, I’m confident you’ll be able to build a better Me 262 than my Me 262. LOL!! Thanks for the visit and the read and reply!
