Here are a few pictures of a recently completed Tamiya P-47 Bubbletop. As many have said before me, this is a great kit that practically falls together, with minimal filler and sanding.

Very nice. the Jug is my favorite WWII fighter. She ain’t pretty but she is a beauty.
Very tight build abunn, excellent looking NMF. [Y] Wish I could blow those pics up more, like it! It seems Tamiya puts out nice litlle kits for reasonable price.
Great build Abunn. The cockpit looks terrific.
I have one of those in my stash - can’t wait to build it.
Chris.
P-47’s have really become my favorite US fighter over the years. You know, a fighter on steroids. LOL
Really nice. What did you do for the NMF?
Very nice job, looks great. I like it.
Great looking build.[Y]

Excellent build! My favorite aircraft and favorite aircraft kit (though I haven’t built Trumpeter’s 1/32 Jugs yet)!
Next time around, I’d highly recommend Master’s turned brass blast tubes. They’re drop-in replacements on the Tamiya Jugs, they look amazing, and you can “borrow” the Tamiya plastic tubes for use on other P-47s (Monogram, etc).

Excellent work on that Jug, the finish looks very good indeed. WOuld also love to see larger pics!
Nice job! That paint work is fantastic.
I second the idea of bigger pics…and more of them.
Can you never build enough “Jugs” and you did well with this one!
