Here are a few pictures of my recently completed Bf-109E4. It was my first attempt at freehand airbrushing camo. The kit went together wonderfully, with very little filler or sanding (like most other Tamiya kits that I have built).

Excellent job on the camo scheme! What type of airbrush did you use?
I’ve only built one Bf-109 before, but seeing builds like this make me want to go out right now and buy one!
Great work.
Chris.
Very nice.
Lovely build, very nice paint work indeed. I have the same kit and plan on doing it in the same markings. makes me want to build that now.
Lovely work [Y]

Thad

Very nice job. I should build more Tamiya kits- the fit has always been good.
Rob
Nice clean built, all thumbs way up!
I have just completed the same kit but in the Africa Mottle “Black 8” Only hassle is that I lost the rear part of the canopy to the carpet monster never to bee seen again[:'(]
I will have to do a diorama of the the plane and the rear canopy being “worked on” LOL!
As you say, this is a nice shake and bake kit, exelent fit and good detail. Well done Tamiya!

Nice job. Looks good.
Very nice build…thanks for sharing.
Great job - love the camo! What paints and colors did you use? Always wondering about those Luftwaffe color schemes and RLM numbers . . .
Great looking 109!!! [t$t]
built this one a while back and I do recall it was a really well engineered kit…came together nicely and has great detail…would like to see some pics of the office…

Great job, abunn1… ! One of my all-time favorite aircraft. You certainly did it justice.
I recently posted some pics of a very similar bird (in aircraft forum)… if you want to take a look it’s listed under “Preparing a Trip to England”… sort of a goofy post title, as it is the name of the scene.
Again, VERY nice
And mostly, thanks for sharing!
